The water crises is not unique to the city of Taiz. Most rural and mountainous districts in the Governorate suffer even more and have a dire need for water to cover minimum needs. There is an acute shortage of water sources, and when there is one, it is far away from the villages which are spread all over the mountains. To fetch the minimum needs of water, people require a lot of effort and time.
