PWP has launched the training program on the Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen Project (SIERY) - financed by the European Union and implemented by UNDP in coordination with local authorities through PWP.

More than 70 contractors, engineers, consultants, and environmental and occupational health and safety specialists in Aden, and the governorates of Sana’a, Marib, Hodeidah, Hajjah, Lahj, Ibb, Taiz and Hadramout participated in the training. Participants explored occupational health and safety concepts and responsibilities of stakeholders, monitoring and control, data entry using the mobile app, women engagement, and protection of the environment, and protection of public and private property.
