By the End of September 2018: The Public Works Project Creates 2.1 Million Work day

By the end of September 2018, The Public Works Project, PWP, created 2.1 million work day for unskilled and semi-skilled labor.

Based on data published by the PWP, basic services were provided to 2.8 million people, mostly IDPs and the poorest groups of society. 172 thousand female and male students benefited from the rehabilitation of 2,249 classrooms. 17 thousand farmers also benefited from land and irrigation rehabilitation sub-projects.

The data also pointed out that 48 thousand households benefited from rain-water harvesting reservoirs built in mountain areas. 58 thousand households also benefited from water supply networks, and 84 thousand people benefited from work opportunities created by these sub-projects as direct labor.
