PWP has achieved an A+ rating, the highest rating awarded by the third audit team (the Consultant) responsible for the follow-up and evaluation of the performance of PWP in the implementation of emergency response projects in Yemen. The project is funded by the World Bank in partnership with UNDP. The evaluation came following field visits to projects under implementation and completed projects.

The director of PWP, Engineer Saeed Abdo Ahmed, has explained that the evaluation relies on a number of criteria. Most important, is the extent of PWP's compliance with the terms and conditions of the loan or grant given to the Emergency Program to address the humanitarian crises in Yemen. It also traced actions followed by PWP beginning with the selection of the project up to implementation and final completion. The audit team had looked into the disbursement procedures and interviewed beneficiaries in the process.

The Project Director confirmed that the evaluation was based on field visit by the  third audit team of the World Bank to  randomly selected projects that have been completed by PWP.

Engineer Saeed Abdo Ahmed pointed out that PWP was given an excellent evaluation by the team and this was a testimony from the donors community to the excellent performance, efficiency and transparency of the project implementation unit of PWP.
